Here are some handy cleaning tips in regards to Play9 Soft Pour Flooring:
- Basic spills and stains can be removed using detergent and water.
- General clean - Gently sponge with clean water and a warm damp cloth.
- DO NOT use high pressure equipment or industrial sweepers fitted with harsh brushes.
- To remove dirt and sand, simply sweep with a broom or use a blower. A blower is recommended for sand, dust and small particles. Use a vacuum cleaner, wiping with a sponge type mop or cloth, to finish off. Alternatively, a wet & dry vacuum system may be used.
- Chewing gum - Remove using a freeze spray. This can be purchased from leading hardware suppliers. Freeze the affected areas, removing gum by breaking it away from the surface.
- Soda or juice - Saturate with Formula 409. Work in and soak up with disposable rags. Then wash with liquid detergent, Borax or STPP solution. Double rinse with clean water.
- Crayon / lipstick / grease - Apply one or more of the following: orange oil cleaner or Formula 409. Work in and soak up with disposable rags. Then scrub with dampened Borax or STPP. Double rinse with clean water.
- Urine / vomit / nasal discharge - Wear disposable gloves. Wash with a Borax or STPP solution. Soak up with disposable rags. Disinfect by spraying hydrogen peroxide, letting it stand for at least two minutes. Spray again with vinegar and let it stand for an additional two minutes. Do not spray these together - spray separately for best results. Soak up again with disposable rags and double rinse with clean water.
DAILY regular cleaning is recommended.
